The use of XEROSTOM toothpaste without detergents (without sodium laurel sulphate) is indicated in patients with a tendency to suffer from sores or ulcers. The detergent in toothpastes irritates, and can worsen the sensation of dry mouth.
Does not irritate gums and is non abrasive. Neutral pH.
Combined use for one week of XEROSTOM products with Saliactive® h has been shown to increase salivary flow by 200%.
