Chemimart: A proud legacy of prestige and quality

Chemimart is run by the Fava family. Reginald, the father and founder holds the Chairmanship of the Company. His two children, Pierre and Graziella are Joint Managing. The family team are all fully qualified in the sector in which they operate and are involved in the various spheres of Maltese society.

Starting off from humble beginnings, but with vision and determination, Reginald managed to secure lucrative international contracts as well as setting up shop in Valletta, the capital and the island's busiest city. He has taken the business a long way since then, driving forward both the company and the industry in general to very high standards.

Today the company is managed by Pierre and Graziella, who with typical energy, charisma and vision that is so characteristic of their father, take on the challenges that today's globalised market place brings.

A history going back two generations

Chemimart was set up in the early sixties, with the opening of its first outlet in Republic Street, Valletta. Over the years Chemimart has become a household name for prestigious brands of perfumeries, cosmetics, toiletries and a vast range of healthcare products.

The company enjoys preferred distribution rights for a number of world renowned brands. The group has a central warehousing facility which also incorporates the head office and IT administration centre having full control over the quality and handling of its products from its doors to the customer.

Chemimart has today become the only organisation in Malta with multi-storey outlets in the island's busiest commercial hubs. All this has not altered or diminished Chemimart's drive to bring its customers the very best. For this reason, a number of ambitious projects are in the pipeline aimed at consolidating Chemimart's position for the years to come.

Heavy investment in the expansion and management of the outlet network is constantly committed in order to provide a state-of-the-art and welcoming ambience where customers feel at ease. The company is also constantly expanding and refining its customer services in order to enhance value added which continue to provide the finest and most appropriate product and expert advice.

Through the years, Chemimart managed to keep itself fresh, relevant and appealing, both to the customer and to the supplier. As competition increased, Chemimart grew from strength to strength, as confirmed by the numerous world class brands that have trusted the company as being their local representative and distributor.
