Chemimart’s core business is the importation, marketing, distribution and retailing of fragrances, health care products, toiletries, beauty products and accessories, representing some of the most sought after names in all of these fields. Chemimart is also involved in beauty therapy and consultancy, operating its own fully equipped beauty and dermatology clinics employing a team of fully qualified professionals.

OUTLETS

The Chemimart Group owns state of the art pharmacies and perfumery outlets, all strategically located in main shopping areas on the Island. Some of the Chemimart outlets also incorporate beauty clinics. Chemimart stores have a concept and style which give consumers a unique experience by creating a suitable environment to house world brands in line and befitting the brands’ identity. Two of the stores also have a venue with facilities to hold launches, staff training, presentations and related activities.

DISTRIBUTION

Complementing its outlet portfolio is a reliable and efficient distribution network. Chemimart covers most of the perfumery stores on the island. Having a team of dedicated staff handling its line of prestigious fragrance and beauty brands. Chemimart also distributes to 100 % of pharmacies in Malta as the Company’s portfolio includes items which are essential and in general demand giving Chemimart a universal penetration in all pharmacies. The Company has a direct sales and distribution structure with a sales force that covers all Malta and Gozo. In order to have a wide coverage of groceries and convenience stores, Chemimart have a dedicated sales person to cover this client category. The sales orders are followed by a direct distribution system to the outlets.

Chemimart is also present in the major and more significant Supermarkets and key accounts where the company acquires dedicated shelf space and controls its merchandising activity.

BRAND MANAGEMENT

Chemimart outlets hold products which are imported, stocked and distributed by the company together with a vast range of readily available top brands. This allows Chemimart to give its captive audience of customers the maximum level of service. It also allows the company to constantly attract new customers through its product offer appealing to diverse target audiences whilst remaining contemporary and up to date.

The products which are handled by Chemimart benefit from the fact that the Company has direct access to the brand vision and philosophy through the distribution partnership which in turn is reflected on how the Company projects the product on the market. Moreover Chemimart outlets are a household name and the brands stocked enjoy the confidence of the customer.

The Company can develop and market products through is brand management system. Brand executives have access to the Company’s infrastructure and resources to be in a position to make the product their own and compete internally for the best interest of the respective products they handle.
